Workforce and GovernanceWhat is workforce development?Workforce development is about developing the people in your organisation in order to improve the way you deliver your services. It includes volunteers, paid workers and trustees. Workforce development can take many forms. Training is of course an important element but other examples include providing mentors on business planning and partnership working or undertaking secondments to learn skills such as facilitation.
