Raising Awareness and Changing Perspectives

A course that helps organisations to meet statutory duties under equality CTRAMININSG legislation.

The course raises awareness and knowledge on issues relating to race, gender, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief and other aspects of difference present in a diverse workforce, with the aim of enhancing professional performance and service delivery. The course enables staff to meet understand the role that equality & diversity plays in delivering effective services to all communities and creating equal life chances for all.

Course Content:

The Course will include the following modules:
  • Attitudes to Diversity & Equality
  • Equality & the Law – Making Sense of it All
  • Prejudice & Discrimination – The Consequences
  • Cross Cultural Communication – Understanding Each Other
Training delivered by Neil Jobes of CMS Training.

Cost: £90 per person (including refreshments, lunch, handbook and certificates)
