Community Assets Matter Training (Bristol)09/02/2010 - 10/02/2010Tuesday 9th February - Wednesday 10th February 2010, 10.00am to 4.00pm - St Werburghs Community Centre, Horley Street, Bristol, BS2 9TJ Promoting Effective Asset Management: This new two day national training programme will provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to support frontline groups and organisations with the effective management of buildings and other community assets. What’s involved? Community Matters has developed a new approach to meet the growing need for guidance, support and advice in Asset Management and has launched a two year national programme of regional learning events for support-providers, accompanied by a publication, that will address the diversity of legal and technical issues that arise for frontline organisations involved in managing community buildings and other community assets. Participants will receive the new Community Assets Matter resource handbook that addresses the diversity of legal and technical aspects of managing community buildings and other community assets and where to go fore more specialised advice and help. Is this course for you? The programme is aimed at local infrastructure organisations, development workers, local authorities, rural community councils, housing associations, funding advisors, Community Anchors and others who provide information and advice to front line organisations on the Management of their Community Buildings and other Community Assets.
